Following up on the breakthrough 12 inch 'Brown Eyed Warrior' (PTR1208) LAL is back with another sure shot 'Dancing the Same', a 12 inch that is guaranteed move your body spiritually and physically. LAL's subtle yet warm sound comes shining through on Dancing the Same, which features an instant classic remix by Toronto's own Abacus, and solid broken techno remix by Nu Era (4hero) vs. Somatik. 'Dancing the Same' is a song dedicated to individuality whether it be through movement or thought. The original track (side B2) combines the conscious vocals of Rosina and the smoothed out production of murr (Da Grassroots). It features a deep bassline , synth stabs and drum programming that borders on techno, house and broken beat, all the while Rosina's vocals are urging people to get up and move their bodies. Side A side features an Abacus (Guidance Recordings) rework of the original, this is an epic track that takes the listener on a soulful journey into modern and classic house music. DJs watch-out for this one. The Ep is rounded out with a with a remix by Dollis Hill V2 warriors Nu Era vs Somatik. Nu Era (aka Marc Mac of the 4hero Crew) teams up with Somatik (Twisted Funk) to deliver a hard hitting track that starts out as techno but finishes with shuffling breakbeats that are the signature of the west London sound.'
